Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Test Technician for a leading global technology and engineering organisation at their Stonehouse site. The role involves functional testing of PWAs and electronic assemblies, using diverse test equipment and following quality IPC standards.

You will read engineering drawings, prepare harnesses, troubleshoot, and support automated machinery and SAP-based workflows. A background in electrical or electronic engineering is required with relevant ONC/HNC/HND/NVQ2

Qualifications

• Further education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (ONC/HNC/HND/NVQ Level 2 preferred).
• Strong electronic technician skills and testing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with low and high voltage systems and general test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out functional testing of PWAs and electronic assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and identify components.
• Maintain production tools and equipment and support continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot products, processes and programme defects and carry out repairs.
