Electrical / Electronic Engineer

Location: Stevenage, Bolton, or Bristol

Salary: Circa £35,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

Working: Hybrid – 2-3 days per week on-site

Our client is a leading organisation in the defence sector, specialising in the development of advanced missile systems. They are seeking skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineers to join their Missile Electrical Architecture team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge missile technology, contributing to next-generation defence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and specify electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment.
2. Develop and manage interface definitions and characteristics.
3. Design power architectures, including load budgets and profiles.
4. Establish data communication and processing architectures.
5. Ensure compliance with EMC, bonding, grounding, and screening requirements.
6. Oversee signal safety, including the routing of safety-related signals.
7. Engage in technical discussions with equipment suppliers and support testing activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
2. Previous experience in a similar engineering role.
3. Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally to suppliers, customers, and company sites.
