Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Distribution Site Technician on a permanent basis. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, handle PPMs, and ensure all compliance paperwork is current.

You may escalate to specialists after initial calls and work within Health & Safety standards. The role requires maintaining a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, with a 24/7

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
City and Guilds 18th Edition.
AM2 / 2391.
3 phase electrics and its applications.
Ability to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and complete paperwork.
Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and carry out repairs as needed.
Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales and response times.
Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
Ensure compliance documentation is up to date at all times.
Advise on-site management of repair and maintenance issues affecting site operations.
Attend training courses to keep skills aligned with developments.
Operate as part of a 24/7 call out rota.
