Job summary

Arcadis UK is seeking an Associate Technical Director to lead the Electrical Design team within Water & Wastewater. You will guide complex electrical designs, mentor engineers, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across projects.

As a senior leader, you will coordinate with process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines, develop innovative solutions, and build lasting client relationships while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Degree requirement in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer status with a professional institution.
• Proven delivery of process plant systems on water/wastewater projects.
• Experience with design and construct projects using digital design tools.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical detailed designs including calculations and drawings.
• Lead design and advisory services for water and wastewater plants.
• Ensure safety through design leadership.
• Deliver multi-disciplinary projects as Design Lead.
• Develop innovative technical solutions per client needs.
• Coordinate work with process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, ICA teams.
• Build relationships with clients and partners on technical and commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with standards and environmental objectives.
• Mentor and supervise staff.
• Line management and performance development for assigned staff.
• Capture knowledge and innovations.
• Promote MEICA team capability and achievements.
