Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Director Electrical Engineer to lead and grow the Electrical & ICA team within the D&AT Practice. You will deliver design work for complex water sector projects in the UK and abroad, directing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring high-quality outputs.

The role requires Chartered status, an Electrical Engineering degree, and a track record of leading design delivery. Hybrid working and collaboration across UK offices are available.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer.
• Proven experience leading an Electrical & ICA engineering design delivery team.
• Knowledge of water company design codes and standards (e.g., WIMES).
• Experience in industrial and process environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and direct a team of Electrical & ICA engineers for complex multi-disciplinary design.
• Manage time and budgets to key project milestones.
• Provide technical leadership on electrical design deliverables.
• Lead business development initiatives to grow water market work.
• Support bid proposals and work with UK/overseas teams.
