AtkinsRéalis is seeking experienced electrical design engineers to join the Building Design Practice in the Glasgow or Manchester team. You will deliver LV/MV electrical systems, integrate renewables, perform detailed calculations, and collaborate with BIM for models and drawings.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status (preferred) and a background in design consultancy or contractor environments, with strong reporting and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering / Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE or IET preferred.
• Experience in design consultancy or contractor design environment is essential.

Responsabilités

• Design and specify LV and MV electrical power systems, earthing and renewable tech integration.
• Produce detailed calculations using industry tools such as ETAP, Prodesign, PV design tools.
• Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with BIM to develop models/drawings (Revit).
• Conduct site surveys, inspections and monitor site works; write reports and notes.
• Maintain thorough records and ensure adherence to quality, environmental and governance processes.
• Support junior staff development and assist with project deliverables within time/cost budgets.
