Job summary
Arup in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical design across water and energy projects in Manchester and other UK locations. You will work with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions, ensuring quality, timelines and budgets are met.
The role invites mid- to senior-level engineers to contribute to design, instrumentation and control systems, and to advance CDM-compliant practices while progressing toward professional registration
Qualifications
- Strong background in electrical design for Water and/or Energy sectors.
- Ability to produce and interpret detailed design documentation and drawings.
- Experience with Trimble and other industry-standard design tools.
- Exposure to instrumentation and control systems.
- Senior candidates: experience managing multidisciplinary projects and knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Mid-level candidates: willingness to learn and develop technical and leadership skills.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline; professional registration (IEng/CEng) or working towards it.
