Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR in Leicestershire is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and deliver control systems for bespoke automated machinery. You will develop electrical schematics, select components, and support safety and CE compliance from concept to commissioning.
The role offers a competitive £40-50k salary, a bonus, and an Employee Ownership Trust. You’ll work with customers and internal teams using EPLAN, align with budgets and timescales, and contribute to innovative automation
Qualifications
- Electrical and safety system design for automated machinery.
- Proficient with EPLAN electrical design and documentation.
- Experience with machine control systems and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of electrical standards, machine directives and CE compliance.
- Ability to deliver projects to timescales and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Design machine control systems for bespoke automation projects.
- Produce electrical schematics and BOMs using EPLAN.
- Support commissioning, fault-finding and maintenance.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Oversee electrical deliverables to budgets and schedules.
