Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Banbridge is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to deliver low-carbon electrical designs for healthcare, education, leisure and residential projects. You will develop LV distribution, load assessments, cable sizing and coordination with mechanical and BIM teams to ensure build-ready designs.

From design development through construction and handover, you will prepare calculations, schematics, and layouts, review standards, and support procurement, construction, testing

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical designs from concept through construction and handover.
• Proficient in LV distribution design, load calculations, and circuit design.
• Ability to coordinate with mechanical, BIM and other multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated electrical designs from concept through construction and handover.
• Prepare calculations, schematics, schedules and layouts.
• Review standards and legislation and produce technical documentation and risk assessments.
• Support procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, with site travel as required.
