Job summary

MLT Group Holdings Ltd is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical and pneumatic control systems for bespoke automated machinery across diverse industries. You will develop detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and system architectures, specifying PLCs, HMIs, drives and safety equipment.

You will work with Mechanical, Software and Project Managers to ensure cost-effective, compliant and on-time delivery from concept through to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for industrial automation or machinery manufacturing.
• Ability to design electrical control systems and pneumatic interfaces.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and risk assessments.
• Proficiency with EPLAN or similar CAD software.
• Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors and safety components.
• Ability to create technical drawings, drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and pneumatic control systems for bespoke automated machinery.
• Produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and system architectures.
• Specify PLCs, HMIs, drives and safety equipment.
• Develop designs using EPLAN or similar CAD software.
• Create BOMs, part specs and spare parts lists.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software engineers and Project Managers.
• Support build, testing, FAT and commissioning.
