Job summary

Resource Recruitment seeks an experienced Electrical/Controls Design Engineer to join an established engineering team. You will develop electrical and pneumatic designs for bespoke machinery, and support from design through to build and commissioning.

The role involves close collaboration with the Controls Manager, Mechanical Design Engineers and Electricians, creating technical documentation, managing revisions, and contributing to project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/controls design for bespoke machinery.
• Background in industrial automation.
• Ability to develop electrical and pneumatic designs and associated documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and pneumatic designs and drawings.
• Create and manage parts lists and machine build specifications.
• Maintain revision/version control of drawings and docs.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure integrated designs.
• Liaise with Electricians to ensure built machines match design specs.
• Monitor progress, timelines and potential improvements to management.
