Job summary

Clarke Energy in Knowsley is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to shape low-carbon power solutions from concept to installation. You will develop electrical designs into fully engineered solutions and support projects through collaboration across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in power generation, and knowledge of electrical systems and analysis software. We offer a competitive salary, flexible working, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience in power generation or related industry (typically 1-25MW).
• Knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs into fully engineered solutions.
• Produce specifications, calculations, and design documentation.
• Support projects from sales stage to installation and testing.

Skills

Electrical Engineering

Power generation experience

Knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems

Power system analysis software

AutoCAD or similar

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or HNC/HND
