Job summary

A leading multinational energy solutions company seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical designs for various energy generation technologies. The role involves translating conceptual projects into detailed designs, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Candidates should have at least a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the power generation sector. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the power generation industry (1-25MW).
• Knowledge of low and medium voltage power trains and associated control systems.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual designs into detailed designs meeting specifications.
• Carry out Power System Studies including Load Flows and Protection Studies.
• Assist in sales stage to prepare design and tender documents.

Skills

Strong IT skills

Proficiency in Power Systems Analysis tools/software

Knowledge of AutoCAD draughting package

Project management experience
