Job summary

Building Services Practice in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Building Services Engineer to design and deliver electrical building services, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and BS 7671. You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, efficient and sustainable electrical solutions from concept through to completion.

The role requires 3–8 years of UK building services design experience, proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• 3–8 years’ UK building services design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and BS 7671.
• Proficient in Revit MEP and electrical design software.
• Confident communicator with multidisciplinary project experience.
• Working toward or interested in CEng registration (IET).

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm and security systems
• Compliance with Building Regulations Parts B, L, M, P and BS 7671
• Load calculations, fault‑level analysis and technical documentation
• AutoCAD/Revit modelling and coordination with project teams
• Site surveys, inspections and Building Control submissions
• Collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors and DNOs
