Job summary

Wakefield Acoustics designs, engineers and manufactures acoustic enclosures, canopies and noise-control solutions for power generation and industrial rotating equipment, including diesel and gas generator sets, compressor packages and associated control systems.

As the business grows, we are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the engineering team and take ownership of the electrical design of our enclosures, control panels and associated packages, from concept through to manufacture,

Qualifications

• Electrical design capability implied by role description.
• Familiarity with applicable standards is implied by project scope.

Responsibilities

• Design, documentation and technical support of electrical systems within Wakefield Acoustics' enclosures and control packages.
• Interpret client and third-party specifications; ensure design packages are accurate, buildable and compliant with relevant UK/European standards.
