Job summary

Wakefield Acoustics is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to own the electrical design of our enclosures, control panels and related packages from concept through to manufacture, testing and site support.

The role covers LV and auxiliary electrical design (control panels, distribution, cabling, lighting, heating and instrumentation) and requires adherence to BS 7671 and CENELEC/ESTI standards to ensure safety, reliability and sustainability in demanding industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Electrical design of enclosures and control panels
• LV and auxiliary electrical design including distribution, cabling, lighting, heating and instrumentation
• Experience applying BS 7671, CENELEC and ESTI standards (implied by role)

Responsibilities

• Design, document and provide technical support for electrical systems within Wakefield Acoustics' enclosures and control packages
• Produce buildable design packages for workshop and customer approval
• Ensure work complies with client specs and relevant UK/EU electrical standards
