Job summary

Hemiko in the UK seeks a highly flexible Electrical Engineer with building services design experience to join the design team in Sheffield. The role supports the growth of heat network infrastructure across the UK, with occasional site visits to prospective and active construction sites.

You will have the opportunity to own design projects from inception through operation, aiding in refining and improving future designs as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (BEng) required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Amtech and Dilaux.
• Knowledge of UK legislation, standards, guides and good practice.
• IT proficient; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email systems, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentations skills, written and oral.
• Good organisational, time management and planning.
• Creative, inquisitive and enjoys solving problems.
• Willingness to question conventional design methods.
• A strong desire to learn, develop and progress.
• A team player with a high level of self-motivation and organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and delivery of energy projects through pre-construction and construction phases.
• Produce detailed drawings, reports, calculations and specifications for different RIBA stages.
• Survey and evaluate existing buildings energy systems.
• Coordinate the work of others and liaise with engineers of other disciplines.
