Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is representing an established M&E design consultancy in Stanmore seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join an experienced team. You will take projects from initial design through to completion, producing electrical designs, calculations and specifications for data centres, distribution centres and healthcare environments.

You will work on technically demanding projects, attend sites for surveys, and benefit from ongoing training, clear progression

Qualifications

• Experience within Electrical Design Engineering.
• Commercial or industrial electrical project experience.
• Strong mathematical and calculation skills.
• UK experience within the electrical design process.

Responsibilities

• Producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out cable sizing and electrical system calculations.
• Designing and routing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Producing drawings and documentation for specification and tender purposes.
• Using software such as IES, Dialux and CAD.
• Attending sites for surveys and testing where required.
• Responding to RFIs and liaising with clients and project teams.
• Taking projects through from initial design through to completion.
• Working alongside experienced engineers and receiving continued technical training.
