Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an office-based role in Stanmore. The position offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus, private healthcare, progression and training.

Join an established M&E consultancy with 70+ years of experience, working across data centres, healthcare and commercial projects. You will design mechanical systems, perform calculations, and collaborate with a senior team to deliver projects from initial design to completion.

• Reviewing installation progress, quality and performance.
• Supporting the design team with operation and ongoing maintenance requirements.
• Taking projects through from initial design through to completion.

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join an established M&E consultancy where you can work on technically interesting projects and develop your career within a highly experienced team?

Do you want to work across Data Centres, Distribution Centres, Healthcare and other technically advanced environments, while receiving continued training and support to develop your technical skills?

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a long-established M&E design consultancy, where you will work on projects from initial design through to completion, with genuine progression opportunities through to Senior Engineer.

This established M&E consultancy has been operating for over 70 years and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building services design across a range of technically demanding sectors. The business benefits from a high level of repeat work and works with several long-standing clients across commercial, industrial and secure environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing mechanical designs, calculations, drawings and specifications, while working closely with clients and the wider design team. You will also have the opportunity to attend sites for surveys and testing, respond to RFIs, and see projects through from initial design to completion.

With that, the ideal candidate will have some commercial or industrial mechanical design experience, strong mathematical and technical skills, and experience producing mechanical calculations and specifications.

• Experience within Mechanical Design Engineering
• Commercial or industrial mechanical project experience
• Strong mathematical and calculation skills
• Experience with mechanical design and specification
• Adaptable, honest and eager to develop
• Based within a commutable distance of Stanmore
