Job summary

Global Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a client in Burton on Trent, a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment for heavy engineering and aerospace sectors.

You will design and develop control and safety management systems, prepare manufacturing-ready designs, and support sales and production teams. Experience with EPlan and electrical schematics is essential; HNC level qualification or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design and development for control systems.
• Ability to produce electric schematic diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical design standards and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and development from initial design to completion.
• Create designs for manufacture and support product realization.
• Develop new products to meet customer specifications and complete projects.
• Prepare technical documentation including drawings and bills of materials.
