White Recruitment Construction seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a design and build contractor focused on building services and HVAC. The role involves designing LV electrical layouts for multiple projects and specifying compliant parts and equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 18th Edition qualification, an Electrical Engineering degree or HNC, and AutoCAD experience. Local candidates with building services or machinery experience are preferred.

Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services / HVAC

Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a design and build contractor, with a background in electrical building services from an Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy background or machinery.

Package

• £45K-£53K
• 25 days holiday, pension

We require someone to hit the ground running so only able to accept applications from local individuals with electrical design experience in building services or large machinery.

The Role

• Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects
• Equipment selections and design calculations
• Attend Teams meeting with customers
• Assist with project planning
• Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance
• Specification of compliant parts and practices

You

• An experienced Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer
• Likely to have worked in a manufacturing environment, Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy
• 18th Edition qualified
• Electrical Design skills are essential
• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
• AutoCAD experience/qualification
• Design calculation software experience is preferable
• Driving licence
