Job description

Our client is seeking to an experienced and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join them.

This a manufacturing company, supplying electro / mechanical components, industries including: Water & Waste–Water. Automotive, Rail, Highways, Food Processing, HVAC, Instrumentation etc.

In this role, you will be involved with developing and enhancing new and existing circuit solutions in line with company requirements and customer demands. If you are a motivated Electrical Engineer and have experience in the electrical design of control panels, we'd love to speak with you.

Please note this role is office based. The successful candidate will need to commute to Princes Risborough or be happy to relocate to the area.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, responsibilities including:

• Utilising AutoCAD Electrical to produce various electrical layouts and schematics
• Create Bill of Materials (BOM's)
• Prepare specifications and test requirement documentation
• Test, develop and de–bug designs
• Review designs development for conformance with applicable standards –
• Support electrical panel production
• Attend and contribute to design reviews.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A degree or HNC/HND in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience in electrical engineering calculations for sizing cables and electrical equipment
• Previous experience designing electrical control panel
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a busy team
• Working knowledge of simple PLC systems and programming software is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours: Full Time 42.5 Hour Week (Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm)
