Aylin White Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to work on exciting M&E and BIM projects across the UK and internationally.

The role focuses on low-carbon building design and energy-efficient engineering, with flexible, hybrid working and opportunities to collaborate with leading architects. You will design electrical load, containment, and protection, produce drawings and schedules, and coordinate with external consultants.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or similar.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit/BIM.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, life safety and critical power.
• Awareness of low-carbon technologies and EV charging.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, British Standards, and CIBSE guidance.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, PV-GIS, or IES.
• Good understanding of CDM requirements.
• Working towards CIBSE/IET professional development and chartership.

Aufgaben

• Design electrical load, containment, equipment sizing, and circuit protection calculations.
• Design fire alarms, structured cabling, lighting controls and security systems.
• Conduct low-carbon technology design and energy analysis.
• Produce electrical drawings, schematics and schedules.

• Attend site visits and support design delivery through construction.
• Take responsibility for allocated areas and mentor junior engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical load, containment, equipment sizing, and circuit protection calculations.
• Fire alarm, structured cabling, lighting controls, and security systems design.
• Low-carbon technology design and energy analysis.
• Produce electrical drawings, schematics, and technical schedules.
• Coordinate designs with external consultants and contractors.
• Attend site visits and support design delivery through construction.
• Take responsibility for allocated areas as an Electrical Design Engineer and support junior engineers.
