Senior Electrical or Mechanical Design Engineer – Up to £65,000 plus Benefits

The company

In this exciting new opportunity, you will be working for an organization that values innovation and expertise. Being part of this team will give you the chance to work on various projects, such as residential, commercial, and bespoke designs within Building Services. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a director who has over 20 years of industry experience.

Your role

You should be proficient in AutoCAD or relevant software, in either the mechanical or electrical field. Your responsibilities include designing new engineering products and processes, analyzing prototype data, retesting as necessary, researching new product ideas and methods, and improving existing products and processes. You will also be involved in installing and controlling systems like heating, ventilation, and lighting, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards, and maintaining accurate records of your work and designs.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and monitoring of technical services in buildings, including HVAC engineering, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, to ensure safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation. You should have relevant experience and be capable of managing projects technically and commercially, providing engineering design solutions to enhance environmental quality and community well-being. The role requires considering business, client, and end-user needs while working within financial and safety constraints.
