Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for an MEP consultancy in Edinburgh, leading electrical designs from concept to completion across commercial, education, healthcare and residential projects.

You will design power, lighting, containment, life safety systems, and carry out cable sizing, producing drawings in Revit and AutoCAD while ensuring BS 7671 compliance and coordinating with mechanical and architectural teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 3+ years in electrical building services design, ideally in a consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, Revit or similar.
• Confident dealing with clients and design teams.
