Job Description:

I am looking for an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join my client, a specialist manufacturer of Marine Equipment, at their offices in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on technical role requiring experience within the Marine industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects developing new marine products.

This role is onsite in Chesterfield; candidates must reside within a commutable distance.

Package:

• £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
• Yearly Bonus
• 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Early Finish on Friday

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical control systems and schematics for marine equipment
• Produce detailed technical drawings and documentation
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to integrate electrical designs
• Ensure compliance with maritime standards and regulations
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical design within the marine industry
• Proficiency in CAD tools, especially AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards
