I am looking for an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join my client a specialist manufacture of Marine Equipment at their offices in Chesterfield. This is a hands–on technical role and the successful Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer will need to have experience within the Marine industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company developing new products, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects within the marine industry.

This is an onsite role in Chesterfield, the successful candidate must live within commutable distance of Chesterfield.

Package:

• 40,000– 50,000 Dependent on Experience
• Yearly Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical control systems and schematics for marine equipment
• Produce detailed technical drawings and documentation
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to integrate electrical designs
• Ensure compliance with relevant maritime industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical design, within the marine industry
• Proficiency in CAD tools, AutoCAD is essential
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and practices
• Experience working within the marine industry
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience
