Job summary

Hays Building Services are seeking a Technical Manager - Electrical to lead the electrical design and technical delivery on major projects in Wiltshire. You will drive design discussions, oversee the design process from pre-construction through handover and ensure compliance with regulations, cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.

You will collaborate with internal and external designers, be fully conversant with LV and MV power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm, security systems

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Electrical Design Engineering within building services and construction.
• Senior project delivery experience and knowledge of design and build contracts.
• Proficiency in design and engineering analysis software and production of specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical discussions and oversee the design process from pre-construction through to handover.
• Ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external designers across LV/MV Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire alarm, Security and Lightning protection systems.
