Job summary

Keighley College is seeking an experienced Course Leader in Electrical to lead Electrical provision across Keighley and Harrogate campuses. The role shapes curriculum, drives teaching standards and collaborates with employers to meet local skills needs.

You will plan curriculum, improve learner outcomes and lead a team to deliver high-quality learning experiences that prepare learners for successful careers in the Electrical industry.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Electrical Installation or related discipline.
• Recent industry experience in the Electrical sector.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching, training or assessment in FE/APprenticeships/workplace.
• A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Electrical programmes across two campuses.
• Drive learner recruitment, attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
• Mentor and develop curriculum staff for high-quality teaching and assessment.
• Monitor learner performance and implement timely interventions.
• Collaborate with employers and industry partners to keep content relevant.
