Job summary

Luminate Education Group is seeking an experienced Course Leader in Electrical to oversee the Electrical provision across Keighley College and Harrogate College. You will lead curriculum planning, drive quality, and work with employers to keep programmes aligned to regional skills needs.

You will mentor staff, monitor learner performance, and ensure high standards in teaching and assessment while promoting inclusion and continuous improvement across both campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Electrical programmes in FE/skills settings.
• Proven ability to drive curriculum quality and student outcomes.
• Strong leadership and communication to develop staff and learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Electrical programmes across Keighley and Harrogate.
• Drive improvements in recruitment, attendance and progression.
• Mentor curriculum staff to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment.
• Monitor learner performance and provide timely interventions.
• Collaborate with employers to keep content relevant to industry needs.
• Lead curriculum planning, reviews and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with awarding bodies and regulations.
• Promote high expectations, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Support learner recruitment, induction and progression at events.
