Job summary

Keighley College is seeking an experienced Course Leader in Electrical to oversee the Electrical provision across Keighley College and Harrogate College. You will shape delivery, ensure high-quality teaching and assess learner outcomes, and collaborate with employers to keep the curriculum industry-relevant.

The role requires leadership, strategic planning and a passion for developing talent, with a focus on improving recruitment, attendance and progression across both campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical programmes or curriculum areas.
• Ability to drive learner progression and quality improvements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in Further Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate the delivery of Electrical programmes across campuses.
• Drive improvements in recruitment, attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
• Mentor and develop curriculum staff to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Monitor learner performance and implement timely interventions to support success.
• Collaborate with employers to ensure curriculum content reflects industry needs.
• Lead course reviews and quality improvement activities to maintain high standards.
