Job summary

Link Energy Services is hiring an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer in Leamington Spa. The role combines office and UK site work with hybrid travel, overseeing BMS, energy management and automation projects from concept to commissioning.

The successful candidate will have an Electrical/Control Engineering background, strong design, documentation and project management skills, and a full UK driving licence to coordinate with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Systems or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical engineering or automation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong project management, organisational and customer communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical and controls projects from initial enquiry to completion.
• Support the design and implementation of electrical control and automation systems.
• Produce and review electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Work with PLC, SCADA and control systems.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Support system testing, FAT and validation.
• Oversee site installation, commissioning and client handovers.

Link Energy Services is looking for an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer to join its growing team. You'll work on a variety of projects involving BMS, energy management, HVAC controls and automation, taking them from concept right through to commissioning.

Essential Requirements

• HNC, HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical engineering or automation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
