Job summary

Link Energy Services in Leamington Spa is seeking an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer to lead projects from concept to commissioning across BMS, energy management and automation.

You will design, implement and test control systems, coordinating with clients and subcontractors while supporting site installation and commissioning. A UK driving licence and hybrid UK travel are required.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Systems or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical engineering or automation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong project management, organisational and customer communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical and controls projects from initial enquiry to completion.
• Support design and implementation of electrical control and automation systems.
• Produce and review electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Work with PLC, SCADA and control systems.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Support system testing, FAT and validation.
• Oversee site installation, commissioning and client handovers.
• Trend Controls, Tridium Niagara, PLC or SCADA systems.
• Electrical and control panel design, including AutoCAD Electrical.
• BMS, industrial controls, instrumentation or functional safety.
• Electrical commissioning, FAT and SAT.

Link Energy Services is looking for an Electrical & Controls Project Engineer to join its growing team. You'll work on a variety of projects involving BMS, energy management, HVAC controls and automation, taking them from concept right through to commissioning.
