Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Torquay (mainly office-based). The role focuses on developing electrical designs and technical documentation for a new medical device entering mass production in Devon.

You will specify electrical components, assist in build, test and commissioning, and gain PLC/controls exposure with Siemens training funded by the company.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Electronic Engineering background.
• Good attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
• Interested in electrical design with some practical/hands-on engineering experience.
• Exposure to electrical drawings, PLCs or controls is beneficial but not essential.
• Candidates with the right attitude and aptitude from a range of electrical/electronic backgrounds will be considered.

Are you from an Electrical or Electronic Engineering background with a good attitude and a genuine interest in developing your career within electrical design?

This company, based in Devon, has developed a brand-new medical device that is about to go into mass production and will be supplied across the globe. The role will primarily focus on electrical design, taking engineering concepts and developing them into fully engineered, compliant and operational systems. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in practical project work, testing and commissioning, while developing your PLC and controls knowledge through company-funded Siemens training.

THE ROLE:
