Job summary
TEC Partners has partnered with a well-established Control Systems Engineering and Manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Electrical Controls & Design Engineer. You will join to design electrical control systems, panels, LV switchgear and support projects from enquiry through to commissioning across diverse industrial sectors.
Role requires strong EPLAN/AutoCAD skills, PLC/HMI programming, and experience with LV switchgear.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in industrial automation, controls or electrical design.
- Strong EPLAN and AutoCAD experience.
- PLC/HMI programming and commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of LV switchgear and control panel design.
- Good communication and project management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control systems and LV switchgear.
- Design control panels and layouts using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
- Manage projects from enquiry to commissioning.
- Prepare quotations and project documentation.
- Support PLC/HMI programming and testing.
- FAT, commissioning and fault finding assistance.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide post-installation technical support.
