Our client, an engineering company, is seeking an EC&I Design Engineer for a permanent position in Gloucester (hybrid work model). This role involves working within highly regulated environments such as nuclear, defence, oil & gas, or power generation.
Role
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, based at a control panel manufacturing facility in Haydock, with the option for hybrid working. As an EC&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical EC&I designs of electrical control panels and related systems.
You will manage and complete EC&I engineering and design projects, support construction during manufacturing, and handle change control. You will interpret customer requirements into engineering solutions, manage client expectations, and oversee engineering estimates, costs, scope changes, and man-hours.
Experience in Low Voltage switchgear design, control/automation systems, motor control centres, and variable drive systems.
