Electrical Control Design Engineer

Our client, an engineering company, is seeking an EC&I Design Engineer for a permanent position in St Helens (hybrid). This role is within highly regulated environments such as nuclear, defence, oil & gas, or power generation.
Role
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, based at the control panel manufacturing facility in Haydock, with an option for hybrid working. As an EC&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical EC&I designs of control panels and related systems.
Main Responsibilities
You will manage and complete EC&I engineering and design projects and support construction during manufacturing, including change control. You will interpret customer requirements into engineering solutions, manage client expectations regarding project scope, and oversee engineering and design estimates, costs, progress, scope change, and man-hours.
Experience & Qualifications
Advantageous Knowledge: Low Voltage switchgear design, control/automation systems, motor control centres, variable drive systems.
