Job summary

Meridian is seeking an Electrical Contract Manager to join a growing electrical contractor based in Burnley. You will manage delivery and commercial aspects across UK projects, with a focus on retail and commercial fit-out work. The role involves supervising electrical trades, budgeting, and ensuring HSE compliance.

The position is office-based with site visits, offering a 65k–70k salary, company vehicle, pension, 25 days leave, and flexible working within site hours.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with fit-out and retail project experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost forecasting skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards, compliance, contract forms, and HSE.
• Experience managing electrical trades and labour on site.
• SMSTS not essential but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full project delivery of commercial electrical contracts.
• Plan resources, budgets, and onsite supervision.
• Ensure H&S compliance and RAMS throughout lifecycle.
• Work with commercial team on job costing and progress reports.
• Coordinate with project team to maximise contract value.
