Job summary

NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) is seeking an organised Electrical Testing Coordinator to join the Maintenance team. The role focuses on arranging inspection programmes, ensuring electrical compliance across a large estate, and delivering data-driven insights to improve performance.

We're looking for an organised and analytical Electrical Testing Coordinator to join our Maintenance team and play a key role in delivering statutory electrical compliance across a large and diverse operational estate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining planning, stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making to make a real impact. You'll take ownership of coordinating inspection programmes, ensuring compliance obligations are met, and providing the insight needed to continuously improve performance.

Working with both internal teams and specialist contractors, you'll help ensure that electrical testing activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with legislative requirements. Your work will directly support the reliability, safety and resilience of our operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As Electrical Testing Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating electrical inspection and compliance activities across our extensive nationwide portfolio of sites.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Developing and managing inspection schedules to ensure compliance activities are delivered on time and in line with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinating internal teams and external contractors to optimise delivery and resource utilisation.
  • Producing and maintaining performance reports and dashboards, providing meaningful insight into compliance performance.
  • Monitoring KPIs, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate electrical testing and PUWER registers, ensuring strong data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Analysing operational data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the implementation of legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues on compliance processes, standards and best practice.
  • Working collaboratively with maintenance and operational teams to improve performance and deliver exceptional compliance standards.
About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong organisational skills with a passion for planning, analysis and operational improvement.

You may come from a maintenance, compliance, asset management, planning, scheduling or performance reporting background and be comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

You'll Bring
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, performance reporting or compliance coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel or similar systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and driving improvements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and support operational teams to achieve compliance objectives.
