The Job Mission

We are looking for anElectrical Commissioning Engineer -Low Voltage to join our team at Hinkley Point C. You will play a key role in commissioning electrical systems, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards. This role requires expertise in LV commissioning, electrical system validation, and compliance with nuclear safety regulations.

• Contribute to team meetings and liaise with project managers on electrical deliverables.
• Develop commissioning documentation for system validation and testing.
• Ensure plant layout allows for efficient commissioning.
• Plan and execute commissioning tests with precision and safety.
• Provide reports and analysis of commissioning results.
• Support regulatory and safety compliance in nuclear commissioning activities.

My profile

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in electrical commissioning, ideally within power generation or nuclear.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of commissioning procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience working with LV, HV, DC, and generator systems.
• Knowledge of nuclear, power generation, or process plant systems.
• Practical experience in nuclear plant commissioning or maintenance.
• Familiarity with UK nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.
• Track record of delivering major engineering projects in a technical role.
