This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.
The role
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. The Electrical Commissioning Engineer will act under the direction and control of NNB GenCo.
Day-to-day, you’ll carry out roles under the profile of Electrical Commissioning Engineer. Engineers will normally be aligned to either HV, LV, DC or generator systems but will be expected to work across all electrical disciplines at times during the contract period. This includes system voltages at 400kV, 10kV, 400VAC, 690VAC, 220VDC and control voltages. The engineer must be able to work with plans and meet tight deadlines.
This role is full time, 38 hours per week, and is based on site at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
