Job summary

Pertemps Basingstoke is recruiting for an Electrical CAD Engineer to join our team in the UK. The role involves delivering high-quality drawing packages and collaborating with clients to understand project specifications.

Requirements include at least 2 years of electrical design experience and proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with a strong electrical principles background. Salary ranges £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years electrical design experience.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles.
  • 3 Phase electricity is desirable.
  • Excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements thoroughly and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification.
  • Deliver high quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements and wiring diagrams.
  • Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy.
  • Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards.
  • Ensure drawings are accurate, up to date and in keeping within company guidelines.
