A leading engineering business in the UK is seeking a CAD Design Engineer to develop electrical schematics and contribute to innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with project managers and manufacturing teams. A degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous, and the role offers a salary range of £43k–£55k, along with bonuses and structured training. This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence, Monday to Friday.

My client seeks an CAD Design Engineer to take a key role in developing electrical schematics, control panels and wiring systems. This role offers technical variety, hands‑on collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation.

What you’ll do

• Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts & wiring diagrams
• Work closely with project managers & cross-functional teams
• Support manufacturing with technical input & design queries
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC/UL/EN)
