We're recruiting for an Electrical Buyer to be responsible for purchasing electrical components for the construction and rail industry.

Responsibilities

1. Supply chain management – building relationships with existing & new suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring timely delivery.
2. Maintain & update a supply chain tracker, with all key details included, such as supplier specialty, agreed payment terms, credit limit, and any applicable rebates.
3. Monitor monthly spend with each supplier.
4. Liaise with the Commercial & Accounting departments to forecast costs weekly & monthly.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction industry buying electrical components.
• Ideally experience in the Commercial, Industrial, or Rail sector.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
