Job summary

Arup in Birmingham seeks an Electrical Building Services Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering sustainable building services across healthcare, industrial, data centres and education sectors.

You will contribute from feasibility through to completion, designing electrical systems, embracing automation and integrated digital design tools, and collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or similar.
• Actively pursuing Chartered status through CIBSE, IET, or other relevant institutions.
• Proficiency in designing electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, data/communications).
• Familiar with BIM environment using Revit and electrical design tools (Amtech, Dialux, Relux).
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
