Job summary

WSP is seeking an Electrical Design Lead to join our Property and Buildings team in the UK. You will lead MEP electrical design on major projects, including aviation-related work, and supervise the production of detailed designs while guiding junior engineers.

You will liaise with clients, interpret project needs, and drive feasibility studies and performance specifications. The role supports hybrid working and development towards Chartership, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality design

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Chartered status or equivalent with professional body is preferred.
• Experience with MEP building services and electrical design is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design within MEP teams and project delivery.
• Supervise detailed designs and guide junior staff.
• Act as client-facing technical lead with clear outputs and KPI delivery.
• Perform feasibility studies and develop performance specifications.
