Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Design Manager for the Services South team, primarily based at Heathrow. You will lead and mentor engineers across MEP, structural and architectural disciplines to deliver coordinated, compliant and robust design solutions.

You will develop design delivery plans, monitor progress against programme and budget, and support bids from a technical and design management perspective. This role offers exposure to major aviation projects and client-facing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in design management within the Building Services sector, within aviation or similarly complex, regulated environments.
• Experience in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor design team members across MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Develop design delivery plans, including programmes, deliverables and review stages.
• Monitor design progress against programme and budget with project and commercial teams.
• Support tender bids from a technical and design management perspective.
• Build and maintain client relationships to align design outputs with requirements.
