Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team. The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 and a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 to 15:30, in a fast-moving snack and confectionery manufacturing environment.

You will lead breakdown reporting, prioritise repairs, plan machine performance, and work with Planning to ensure availability. Support production, maintain GMP standards, and uphold paperwork sign-off.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualifications.
• Experience of FMCG operations is desirable.
• Ability to prove competency in electrical isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry, alongside mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Report breakdowns versus PPM activities daily.
• Prioritise repair work to minimise downtime.
• Plan and monitor machine performance.
• Negotiate machine availability with Planning Department.
• Monitor failure trends and support external contractors.
• Provide technical support for production when required.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and complete paperwork/sign-off.
