Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is assisting a Northampton-based food manufacturing business in recruiting an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The role offers up to £50,000 salary plus overtime and a benefits package in a fast-paced production environment.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and keep automated packaging equipment running while supporting site improvements and upgrades.

Qualifications

• PPM and reactive maintenance across production lines.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Maintaining automated production and packaging equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement on site.
• Ensure safety and reliability of machinery.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and installations.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems.
• Fault finding on control panels, sensors and inverters.
• Maintain automated packaging equipment and line-side systems.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Ensure machines operate safely, efficiently and reliably.
