Job summary

RRE Electrical Services requires an experienced Electrically Biased Engineer to visit customer sites for breakdown repair, service and maintenance.

The role involves diagnosing faults from electrical drawings, fault finding, and getting machines back up and running across diverse systems. You’ll work on Heidelberg presses and various automation equipment in recycling, farming, printing and processing industries.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to diagnose faults using electrical drawings.
• Excellent fault-finding skills.
• Working knowledge of PLCs.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical engineering
• Trade C&G qualification in electrical or mechanical
• Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to carry out breakdown repair, servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to get machines running.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to identify fault causes.
• Work across a range of machines and sites with minimal supervision.

Job description

RRE Electrical Services requires an experienced Electrically Biased Engineer to visit our customer sites and carry out Breakdown repair, services and maintenance.

We are looking for someone who loves fixing things. That has drive and wants to get the machines working. This role will challenge you, as you will be working on a wide variety of machines and sites. The ability to diagnose faults and read electrical drawings is crucial for the person that wants to find a solution, to getting the customer up and running again.

You could be working on Heidelberg Presses, compactors, balers, shredders, cut and crease machines, automated feeding systems, extruders, We work in industries such as recycling, farming, printing and processing.

This is not a shift role.

You will need to have

• Experience in working in an industrial background.
• The ability to diagnose faults using electrical drawings.
• Excellent fault finding skills.
• Working knowledge of PLCs
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical engineering
• Trade C & G qualification in one of the following- electrical, mechanical, maintenance,
• Driving Licence.
